HR GROUP TO HOST CAREER FAIR IN CONJUNCTION WITH SOUTHWEST FLORIDA COLLEGE

Port Charlotte, Fla. (July 19, 2011) – The Charlotte County Society for Human Resource Management (CCSHRM) is hosting a career fair in conjunction with Southwest Florida College on August 26, 2011, from 9am to 1pm. The event will take place at the Southwest Florida College campus at 950 Tamiami Trail, in Port Charlotte. Businesses will have booths to promote and recruit for their business needs and job seekers will have the opportunity to improve their written resume and interview skills as well as meet hiring employers.

For employers: CCSHRM and Southwest Florida College are offering free tables to employers in a variety of fields, including hospitality, government, retail, banking, medical, veteran’s services, and workforce development. A limited number of booths are available, so businesses should act quickly.

For job seekers: There will be mock interviews and resume reviews by Human Resource professionals, training sessions on topics related to resumes, applications, and interviews, and there will also be businesses from a variety of fields looking to recruit.
